2025 ICE CLIMBING FESTIVAL DATES

Don't let skiing and snowshoeing take all the cold weather glory.  Get on the ice for another fun winter activity!  No, we're not talking about ice skating.  We're talking about ice climbing!

Ice climbing looks pretty intimidating but let us tell you that with the right coaching, you can have a great time climbing ice.  One way to dip your toes into ice climbing before committing to a full course is to attend an ice climbing festival.

These events often have mini-courses for beginners and other more advanced ice climbing sessions to work on techniques for those more experienced.  A lot of times you can even demo new gear!  Certain festivals will have women's only classes as well.

To help get you started, here is a list of ice climbing festivals happening across the US in 2025.
